“I was just going through Money Moves, and you were talking about long captions. I immediately started thinking of them as not just an opportunity to share, but as a means of filtering out those who don’t really give a shit about you 👍🏻 thanks for the inspiration. Not “inspiration,” mind you, but the good stuff 😂” -Brian Nevison

How to Make Your Comments Section Explode
“This video from MoneyMoves succinctly put into crystal clear words for me what I’ve always suspected was going behind the scenes of posts that have caught my attention and held it!
The gold in here ranges from stuff I’ve sort of practiced, like the addressing commentator by the first name to other more mind-blowing stuff like “people like me, like this person” & walk through the “open door.” -Suman Subra, Comment Games
I've always wanted to market myself this way
MoneyMoves is awesome! I feel that this is just the beginning.
Ryan gave clear voice to my suspicion that I- and other teachers marketing themselves on Instagram had it BACKWARDS.
@dk_movement
Ryan gave clear voice to my suspicion that I- and other teachers marketing themselves on Instagram had it BACKWARDS.
After being exposed to his work, I became acutely aware of how much time and effort teachers were wasting in building followings they could never convert into real connections or REAL INCOME.
This is a problem. Teachers are being misled by the agenda set by social media platforms and as a result becoming disillusioned with these platforms as tools in service of their cause.
Or worse, they doubt whether they can make it independent as a teacher at all.
It doesn’t have to be this way. There are ways to create influence and convert your following to real community, connection, and revenue to support your journey. And you don’t need 20k or 100k people scrolling and double tapping your photos to do so.
You have helped me tremendously.
@santanactive
Just this week alone I gained 3 new clients and they alls aid the same thing. They watch my videos and said they became inspired and want me to train them. Thank you for your knowledge and humor, of course. You have helped me tremendously.
So many people are asking me about mindfulness and meditation tips.
I wasn’t really trying to MARKET, I was just trying to get more followers
@Yogabyabigaile
The biggest change has been simply to focus on marketing at all. I wasn’t really trying to MARKET, I was just trying to get more followers because that’s what everyone else was doing. Now I view my insta account as a marketing tool and a platform that people can see the real me on, not a place where I have to pretend to be someone different so that they will like me.
If you planned to watch this with kids around - PLEASE WEAR HEADPHONES.
@anonymous
OK, to be fair… the information did help me out a lot and since I started using the principles, I can’t deny the positive shift in my social media presence. I just can’t give it 5 stars… There was no warning that it was a rated R product anywhere on the page. Ryan curses A LOT. If you planned to watch this with kids around – PLEASE WEAR HEADPHONES.
It’s great, like Rabbit Hole, condensed, on steroids and pre-workout.
Ryan Fitzpatrick
I’m about 3/4 through MoneyMoves and it’s great, like Rabbit Hole, condensed, on steroids and pre-workout. Seeing how Ryan has sharpened his message and delivery sort of gives me hope for future me, if I just keep practicing.
You’ve been the driving force behind not just formulating a plan to get back out there, helping people, doing something i enjoy and making $$.
Everyone is a hustler, everyone is selling, and there's no shame in doing it louder and lovelier than everyone else.
Social media is starting to feel a bit more fun and doable.
I am applying some of your principles to how I approach my clients within the design/video/web/brand sphere.
This is such a refreshing perspective
@movementmama
This is such a refreshing perspective because thinking about using social media for honest narrative makes it sound like so much more fun, and so much less “work” or “marketing”.
You made it very clear how to put the principles into action.
Matthew Robillard
Wow, a lot to unpack in this one. I found myself rewinding 10+ times because I was getting into taking notes and missing what you said. I especially like the last 7 minutes or so, you made it very clear how to put the principles into action.
